It’s been a while, can’t hear any running footsteps from his leggies, he’s quite for a while since Q1, 2009. But behold, the RunningCat is back! Started to blend in into his new work place in a totally new environment. That was since March, hmmm… about 6 months ago. Yeah… in the historical city of Melaka where the life is slow as in Cat’s city. Currently, there are only 2 places which cat can be seen running, the Botanical Park and Tun Fatimah’s Stadium. There will be more post on this later.
Now, he’s in Las Islas Filipinas, somewhere in Laguna province for work related assignments. It’s a paradise here, should have come here many years ago. Currently, he is running in the gym after work, so far clocked 10 km from 2 sessions. If the time permits during this stay here, he is thinking to participate in the Manila run soon. Oh well, let’s wait and see…

I’m removing the Nike+ Stats and Nike+ Feeds from this site as its no longer functioning. Constantly showing me ‘db error’ for no reason, and the data was not moving since Aug 07.
I’ll try out some of the new widgets soon to replace this function, till then.

Nike+ Scrapable Widgets
Finally, after long months of waiting, the Nike+ Scrapable Widget is now available for the Malaysian server. It’s actually something that is fairly simple and easy, yet very useful as an alternative way to check your runs, goals and challenges without having to log into the ‘slow’ heavily ‘flashed’ official Nike site.
Unfortunately, it’s not viewable under this WordPress engine as scripts are condemned and forbidden here as usual. Again, I have to put the faith on my ‘Trusty Old Blogspot’ once more.
Here is a snapshot of the current Merdeka Challenge widget in blogspot. Useful, very useful indeed..
Nike+ Stats
Most unfortunately, the server (http://justdoing.it/) for my Nike+ Stats was down since a while ago. I’ve now clocked 35 runs for 248 km so far but the badge is still stucked at 29 runs. Hope those guys behind this wonderful project can fix it soon.
