SECA Joggerthon 2008

April 29, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The cat will be running again soon. This time, its just 8.5 km which is about 5.3 miles. This race is only open for employees who are working in the SECA community, or employees of companies located within the SAMA JAYA FREE INDUSTRIAL ZONE in Kuching, Sarawak.

Race day is set on 18 May 2008, which is also about 18 days from today. Since this race is more on speed rather than distance, Cat’s training plan will be focusing on speed and sprint stamina.

Based on the track record, theoretically it should takes about 29 minutes to complete the entire 5.3 km run. Well, I guessed everything is subjectable to the ever changing environments at this part of the world. Will try to work out on the training plan soon, till then.
